Welcome to TaskGenie! We're happy to have you on board and eager to help you unlock the full potential of our fully managed virtual assistant service. Now that you've created your account, let's navigate the next steps together to ensure a seamless and productive experience.

1. Define Your Tasks and Objectives

Before submitting a work request to your Genie, take a moment to identify the specific tasks or projects you want to delegate. Consider the areas where you need support the most, whether it’s administrative tasks, research, or other industry-specific workflows. Is this an ongoing task you’ll need help with, or a one-off project that you need your Genie to handle?

Clearly outline your objectives and expectations for each task or project. This clarity will guide the effective delegation of tasks to your dedicated Genie. 

2. Create Detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

After gaining more clarity around the tasks you want to delegate, you will need to craft detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), which are the cornerstone of successful task delegation. 

Your SOPs are the step-by-step instructions that break down each task, providing important context and any specific requirements that your Genie can follow to complete delegated tasks. 

The more detailed and comprehensive your SOPs are, the smoother the execution by your Genie. You may want to include past examples, screenshots, video tutorials, links or other resources to enhance clarity. 

3. Submit Your Work Request

Once your tasks and SOPs are prepared, it's time to submit your work request. Log in to your account and locate the "Submit a Work Request" feature. Provide a clear and concise description of the task, attach your SOPs and any necessary files, and indicate the desired deadline, which will be received by your dedicated Project Manager (PM). 

Your PM is the person who will collaborate with you directly and communicate your work requirements to your dedicated Genie. The more information you provide upfront, the better your Genie can meet your expectations and the quicker the work can be completed. 

4. Meet Your Project Manager

After submitting your work request, our team will assign a dedicated Project Manager to oversee the successful completion of your tasks. This individual will be your point of contact for all task delegation with TaskGenie, and they will collaborate directly with your dedicated Genie to relay all relevant information about your work request. 

Your assigned PM will reach out shortly after you submit your initial work request. All communications with your PM will occur through the in-platform messaging feature for streamlined communication. Open communication ensures everyone is on the same page, setting the stage for a successful partnership.

5. Address Further Clarification or Steps

This initial interaction with your PM is an excellent opportunity to address any questions, provide additional context for the work you need completed, or clarify specific requirements, prioritization, or timelines. 

The PM will have reviewed the work request at this point, and can ask any further questions or clarifications they have on their end as well. Any adjustments or refinements can be addressed at this stage to ensure the final output aligns with your expectations.

Your Project Manager is here to facilitate a smooth workflow and act as a bridge between you and your Genie, so don’t hesitate to reach out to them at any point during your TaskGenie journey. 

6. Let Your Dedicated VA Get to Work

With your SOPs, work request, and discussions with your Project Manager completed, it's time for your dedicated Genie to get to work. The turnaround time for each work request will depend on the nature of the task and the prioritization you’ve provided if you’re submitting multiple requests at once. Trust the process and feel confident that your tasks are in capable hands with your qualified Genie. 

7. Monitor Progress and Provide Feedback

As your Genie gets to work, regular updates on the progress of your tasks will be provided by your PM, keeping you informed every step of the way. Feel free to provide feedback, ask questions, or request adjustments as needed. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we're committed to ensuring the work aligns with your expectations.
